How do I know if I am getting a good conveyancer? Its sometimes difficult to tell the difference between conveyancing firms. Lack of communication and poor customer service cause most frustration with home movers.
We show what we do to ensure you get the best firms, with the highest levels of customer service.
In the first place, even before we consider a conveyancing firm for inclusion on our panel, we carry out extensive research. This is to ensure a firm provides a reliable service with a high level of customer service. Of course, we research all external reviews. We exclude any firm which doesn’t score in the top 20%. We also exclude firms which have a high level of reviews from users who have provided only one review. This may be an indication of reviews which aren’t genuine.
But we go further. We then check with the Land Registry to understand how accurate conveyancing firms are at updating the Land Registry. A poor score may reflect a firm which is less efficient or offers a poor level of service.
We go further still.
We then :-
- visit all firms who want to be included on our panel;
- carry out an extensive of audit of how well the firm operates;
- test the level of customer service given; and we
- enter into agreements with firms which include detailed service levels which are customer focused. These include response times for every stage of the conveyancing process.
And we don’t stop there. We continually test our firms’ performance. Because we deliberately have deep relationships with fewer firms, we can work with our firms to drive continuous improvement in customer service.
